The City of Riverside's City Hall, a blend of Brutalism and New Formalism, was designed by the firm of Ruhnau, Evans, and Steinmann. It was dedicated in 1975. 2025 marked its 50th anniversary with a landmark designation, a book about its history, and a site-wide celebration. Wexler of California provided a logotype for the event and design guidelines inspired by a mid-'70s color palette and the typefaces used on official City stationery in 1975.
