Old Riverside Foundation is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit civic organization incorporated July 25, 1979. Its purposes are education and advocacy related to the recognition, appreciation, and preservation of the historic built environment and associated cultural resources in the City of Riverside. Since 1990, Old Riverside Foundation has been the caretaker and occupant of the landmark Peter J. Weber House, where they demonstrate best practices in historic preservation and conduct tours.

Dave Stolte volunteered his writing, design, and research to create a comprehensive biography of Riverside architect Peter J. Weber as an educational resource and a fundraising item for the organization.
